Netflix Nights

I enjoy watching film & TV in my spare time and I love a cosy night in!  I thought I'd start posting my favourite shows / films every month or so...  So here are my picks from January!

Dexter
Dexter is one of my all time favourite shows and I have always joked that he must be my soulmate; a badass, a scientist and humorous, what's not to love?  I am watching it again with my boyfriend and loving it!  I missed watching his escapades and listening to his in-jokes.  Dexter follows the life of Dexter Morgan, a scientist with the Miami Metro Police by day and a serial killer by night.  A must watch!

The Following
This stars Kevin Bacon and follows his life as a sort of serial-killer-hunter.  Bacons character is damaged goods but still knows his stuff when it comes to solving murder cases.  I'm still only on the first (of 3) season but I'm enjoying it so far.  This show is quite dark, not for the faint hearted.

The Bible
This was a show I found on Netflix that j hadn't previously heard of.  As the name suggests, it follows the stories of the Bible.  Not everyone's cup of tea but I liked learning new stories.

Person of Interest
I had been working my way through this show for the past couple of months and I'm so sad that I've finished it now!  The next season needs to hurry!  It follows a computer genius and his ex-military friend who come together to try and prevent premeditated murder.  A mysterious A.I called 'the machine' helps identify the victims and even begins to help the two men fight crime.  It doesn't sound up to much but it's by far one of the best shows currently on TV.

24
I've been catching up on this as I haven't seen the last season, so I'm watching a few old seasons to refresh my mind.  24 circles the life of a government anti-terrorist agent Jack Bauer and he is basically like a real life combo of action man and a super hero.  He can take out 30 men in under a minute with one arm tied behind his back.

What have you been watching?  Any recommendations are welcome :)
