L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Review

So I bought this oil a while ago and honestly, it is nowhere near as good as I was expecting :( It costs between £7-10 and I dont think it is worth the money at all.

I hate putting out posts that feel like a bit of a rant but I think that negative posts are sometimes helpful because it can stop others wasting money on rubbish products.

This oil is very thin, like water almost.  It leaves hair sticky and I cant see any benefit from using this.  Other oils I have tried have at least softened, smoothed or strengthened my hair but this oil has done nothing.  Well, apart from leaving it sticky and needing washed.  I have tried this oil on wet and dry hair, but the results are still the same.  I really do not like it and I can say that it is one of the worst oils I have tried!  And I have tried a lot.  Definitely wouldn't buy this again and I will not finish the bottle.  L'oreal, I expected more from you!

What oils are your favourites?  I am always on the lookout for more!

  3. Aah that is such a shame, you would expect Loreal to be better than that!
Thank you very much for the post - I always get sucked into buying hair oils but will definitely give this one a miss now.
I swear by my Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum!

  4. I've been eyeing this up since it first got released but something's always stopped me. I'm glad I haven't tried it, now! Avon's Moroccan Argan Oil has been my firm favourite since the beginning of the year. Also, TRESemme's Liquid Gold is good. It's a bit more watery than other oils, but it really works!

  5. Hi dear! I haven't visited in a while and I'm always skeptical about hair oils because i have fine hair. I do love Biosilk, silk therapy though and I only need like a small dime size or less for my hair and it smells so good and makes it silky! Have a great Sunday and I will be sure to steer clear of this product! xx Pip

  6. I have this one too but not the coloured hair one just the normal one. I have to say it only worked great on my hair as a hair mask but otherwise It isn't extraordinary like it claims lol, xoxo.
