This is a heavy-weight in the blogging scene... Everyone raves about it but honestly? I am not entirely sold. It is alright but not great.
At first its great! But if definitely does not stand the test of time.
The product has a thin sort of cream consistency and applies very smoothly. It definitely helps my make-up go on evenly and I was told by the sales assistant that it would last the day and keep any oily patches at bay. Sadly, it doesnt. After about 5 hours time my t-zone (especially my nose) is looking shiny and oily, and worst of all my makeup is nowhere to be seen. My skin isnt *that* oily, so I don't understand why it does this.
I do like this product if I don't have a long day or night ahead, because it is lightweight and doesn't feel like I'm wearing a mask. It does help smooth my skin texture out so my foundation looks nice. But only at first. Do you see my problem here? I can't love this because it doesn't last but I can't hate it either because I have definitely tried worse.
I think I will try the other Smashbox primers eventually and see how I go with them. I hope one (or more) of the others apply like this one but last longer.
Have you tried any of the Smashbox primers or have any primer recommendations for me?
