I love the scrub gloves! They exfoliate the skin and are amazing at it. They are quick and easy to use, plus they are mega cheap! What's not to like?!
I don't know why they aren't more popular. Well, I think people are put off by how rough they feel... But once they are wet they don't feel that rough on your skin at all.
You use these in the bath /shower and it only takes a few minutes. Pop the gloves on and lather up some soap or shower gel and water on them. This step stops the gloves being too rough on the skin. Rub your hands over your body in long circular strokes, concentrating on knees and elbows (especially if you fake tan). Rinse yourself with some water and boom! You are done! It removes dead skin cells and the rubbing motion can help circulation (if you rub towards the heart).
I do this around once a week, but sometimes more and sometimes less. It just depends how my skin is feeling.
After I do this my skin feels lovely and soft, especially after adding body cream!
I prefer this method of exfoliation to lotions with granules in them for the simple fact that it is a lot easier. With the granules I find that I rarely completely rinse them off, so when I apply body cream I can still feel the granules - not good! Plus, some brands are especially bad for making a total mess of your bath! Sometimes trying to get the bath granule free makes me want to scream. Neither problem happens with the scrub gloves!
As they get wet etc, I'd recommend only using them a few times before disposing of them. I don't mind this though as they are so cheap. Do shop around though, some places like Boots cost £3-4 whereas the ones I use from Body Care cost under £1.
Have you ever tried these?
