How pretty is this?!
And it's really simple too!
OK, I'll admit it, it took me a few attempts to get the hang of it. Once I mastered it though, it was easy peasy!
It is just a mix of a french plait and a bun.
Steps to create this look:1. Separate your hair into 2 parts. I usually separate above the ear line and tie the top half up in a bobble or clip it up. Leave the bottom half loose.
2. Starting at the nape of the neck and finishing at the crown of your head, french plait the bottom half of your hair.
I find that lying face-down on my bed, with my head lying over the edge is the easiest way to do this, so my head is upside down. This saves neck cramps and makes the hair fall in the opposite direction of your plait and therefore doesn't get in the way!
3. When you get the plait to the crown of the head (or wherever you want to stop) tie it with a small hair elastic, so the rest of the bottom half hair is in a pony tail.
4. Back comb the top half of your hair a little then bring it back and tie into a pony tail. Include the bottom pony tail in this too.
You could leave the hair style at this, but I like to put it in a bun to really show off the plait.
5. Make the pony tail into a bun and clip in place using kirby grips / bobby pins.

And once more from the back:
I love this look as it is so pretty and feminine.
I love that it holds hair away from your face too, as sometimes I just like it out of the way but want to be a bit fancier than just a normal pony tail.
Also, it is a heat-free style so it is good for your hair!
It stays in really well, I've even slept with it in and it still looks good! If you want to leave it in for a day or two I'd suggest using a bit of hairspray to give the style a better hold.
It is easier with day-old hair as newly washed hair can be too soft.
What do you think? Do you / would you wear this style?
