Avon Moroccan Argan Oil

Avon have recently launched a new product by jumping on the hair oil bandwagon.  Most companies seem to be doing this and I love it!  Argan oil  works wonders for my hair and I have used a few different brands.

You can purchase this from Avon (from a representative or their website) and it costs £5.50 for 30ml.
I got it half price as I bought it as soon as it was launched.
As I said, I have tried a few different brands and I wasn't sure how Avon would compare to others.

I was not disappointed!  This Argan Oil is amazing, I really like it.  I bought 2 bottles since they were half price and I am glad I did as I will keep repurchasing this.

It is lightweight and leaves no product build up.  I have been using it every night and my hair looks and feels amazing.  Normally other oils do tend to leave a build up if you use them a few nights in a row without washing your hair.  I am glad to say that this does not!

The price is great, it is so much cheaper than high end brands but I think it is just as good!

I also love that the bottle has a pump, which you can see in the picture, as it means none of the product goes to waste.  I have tried other oils that you pour out onto your hand, resulting in too much oil coming out - not good when a bottle is expensive!

Most importantly, I feel that it is really helping my hair.  It leaves it feeling soft and reduces frizz without weighing it down.  It also reduces drying time, bonus!  A little goes a very long way when it comes to oils, a pea sized drop is enough, so each bottle will last a long time, even if used daily.

If you are suffering from dry or frizzy hair it is a must and I would even recommend to people who just like giving their hair some TLC.

  1. I've been meaning to try some argan oil for my hair for a while now, but have just never gotten round to it (and been put off by the prices of some of the higher end brands)- definitely going to have to try this! My hair's prone to being a little on the dry side, and you can't sniff at £5.50 (:

  5. This sounds great! I used to swear by hair oil, but now that I have cut my hair short I rarely use it because it makes me hair quite limp... never noticed that problem when I had longer hair.

    1. It is :) I really like it. It does the trick haha. Awh yeh I didn't even think of that! Short hair would get limp easily. This would maybe work, as it doesnt weigh my hair down but other ones Ive tried do... so I can see why a short-do isnt the best for oils! xox

    1. I use it it both ways, after washing my hair I rub some though and let it dry which makes it really easy to straighten, I also use it to "tame" my dry hair when it is looking a bit frizzy. Both work well for me although I suppose it depends on the type/condition of your hair.

  12. My hair has always been a nightmare and recently has become very dry and difficult (a combination of my age and hair straighteners I expect !). When I first heard of Argan Oil I looked it up on the net but decided it was out of my price range, then my partner's Mum told me about this marvelous new "Argan oil" product she had tried, as it was a fraction of the price of some of the big name brands,I gave it a go, also tried the shampoo and conditioner in this range and was smitten, my hair has never looked better, shiny and easy to style as well.

Avon often do special offers so although the regular price is £5.50 it is often discounted (it is currently £3.99 on the official Avon web site)and I managed to get some for even less on one of their sales, beware though, I looked on the web and there are quite a few individuals selling this for up to twice the price on a certain popular shopping site...you have been warned !
